Recovery takes incredible courage. Arbour-HRI Hospital’s partial hospitalization program Courage and Connection, offers day treatment for co-occurring psychiatric and eating disorders. This program is for patients with primary psychiatric issues who also have an eating disorder. Eating disorders treated include binge-eating, bulimia, anorexia, among others. The program provides skills and strategies to help clients navigate the terrain of recovery.
Courage and Connection provides care for women of all body sizes who struggle with an unhealthy relationship between food and their body. Our clients are 18 years or older and need more support than outpatient care, or are transitioning from an inpatient program. Participants must be medically stable and above 85 percent of their ideal body weight. In addition, clients must have a primary care physician who is responsible for medical monitoring.
Eating disorder services are available at Arbour-HRI Hospital. If you have questions about the Courage and Connection Program, please contact the program directly at 617-731-3200 Ext. 183.
