On Wednesday, October 15, 2012, in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Latino Partial Hospitalization Program at Arbour Counseling Services, Lawrence welcomed community leaders, behavioral health providers and other health and human service professionals to its facility during the Annual Open House.

More than 50 guests attended the event, where guests enjoyed typical Latino foods, music and artwork exhibited by the program participants. A Hispanic Heritage Gallery Exhibit was also created to display a collection of historic pieces such as art, books, tapestries, textiles, woodwork, clothing, etc. from various Latin America countries.

Some of the guests and represented agencies that were in attendance included:

Comfort Home Care, Marcos Devers, State Representative 16th Essex District of Massachusetts, Rumbo Newspaper, Radio Personality Dalia Diaz, Haverhill Clubhouse, Mental Health Associates, Lawrence Department of Mental Health, Lowell Department of Mental Health, Lowell Treatment Center, and Turning Point Holy Family Hospital.
