Arbour Counseling Services (ACS), Worcester and The Commonwealth Center, an outpatient program of HRI-Hospital, recently received their provisional licenses from the Department of Public Health Bureau of Substance Abuse Services (BSAS) that allows the outpatient centers to provide additional substance abuse services for patients suffering from addictions.
BSAS approval is required for programs that provide primary substance abuse services and are promoted as offering addictions treatment. ACS, Worcester and The Commonwealth Center can now develop and promote levels of care for patients with addiction disorders.
Other Arbour Counseling Services sites that are BSAS licensed for outpatient services include Allston, Jamaica Plain, Malden, Norwell and Woburn.
