Aminadav Zakai, MD Named Medical Director at Arbour-Fuller Hospital


Dr. Aminadav Zakai has been named the medical director at Arbour-Fuller Hospital, according to CEO Bob Mansfield.

Dr. Zakai transitioned to Arbour-Fuller from Arbour-HRI in April 2010. Prior to his tenure in Arbour Health System, he worked as the chief psychiatrist for the Massachusetts Department of Corrections and as the medical director for the Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Program at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Providence, RI.

Dr. Zakai is licensed in Massachusetts and Rhode Island as well as his native Israel, and he is a member of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS), the American Psychiatric Associations (APA) and the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH).
