Women's ServicesThe Center for Women’s Development (CWD) at Arbour-HRI Hospital in Brookline provides a comprehensive system of care, specializing in the treatment of women with psychological or addictive disorders including trauma, dissociative and eating disorders. The CWD’s inpatient program is housed on a separate unit; our multidisciplinary treatment team provides needed evaluation, treatment and discharge planning. As an effective alternative to inpatient treatment or as a transition from inpatient care, the CWD’s Partial Hospitalization Program enables women to receive intensive therapy while they live at home. The CWD’s Intensive Outpatient Program offers three hours of group therapy, three times a week, focusing on stabilization and symptom management. Our network of Arbour Counseling Services clinicians, who have expertise in treating trauma issues, addictions and dual diagnosis, are available for individual and group outpatient therapy for those patients who do not already have an outpatient therapist. Courage and Connection, a track of the Center for Women’s Development Partial Hospitalization Program, offers treatment of co-occurring psychiatric and eating disorders. This includes binge-eating, bulimia, anorexia and other eating disorders. The program provides strategies to help clients navigate the terrain of recovery as well as provide insight and skills to help them navigate it. For assistance or admission options twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, please call the ACCES Center at (800) 22-ACCES (222-2237). Your call will be answered by an intake coordinator who will ask you a few questions in order to determine what is most appropriate for your circumstances.
